John Martyn remains an important and influential figure in both British folk and rock and he transcends the boundaries of conventional singer-songwriting and developed groundbreaking styles over various different genres of music. He has written outstanding material for various artists including Eric Clapton and Nick Drake and has recently collaborated with Sister Bliss of the acclaimed dance act Faithless on a progressive trance hit called 'Deliver Me'.
