), a mechanic running the family garage. As they struggle to reconcile the "She'll be right" attitude with the "She won't be right" economic climate, Noel strikes up a close friendship with Steve's prize mechanic Gary (Ben Mendelsohn

). Torn between the charm of his home town and the allure of the big city, Noel must now decide where his future lies.
