Kev and Mick are two jobless slackers, marginalised, frustrated, and bored in the bleak, fatherless wasteland of the Western suburbs of Sydney.  After watching too many bad heist movies on TV, they make ill thought out plans to rob a bank. Their lives then spiral out of control in a story both tragic and bleakly funny. Caesar's richly authentic script is full of quotable quotes and has a robust punky soundtrack that drives home both the mood and the meaning.  It's a sharp and sophisticated movie that redefines grunge humour in a unique, poetic and very Australian way.
