The only commercially released recording of a CHIC concert, this stunning performance by Nile Rogers and the band recorded live at the Budokan in Tokyo, Japan is a compelling record of the greatest disco-funk act of all–time. Featuring all of CHIC’s legendary disco anthems – “Le Freak”, “Dance, Dance, Dance” - the show also includes two Sister Sledge classics - “He's The Greatest Dancer” and “We Are Family” - written by Nile Rogers and bass player Bernard Edwards (both went on to become super producers for the likes of Dian Ross, David Bowie and INXS). Significantly, this was Edwards last ever performance with CHIC, who died only days later.
