Synopsis

In the 1970s cult film maker Roger Corman produced a series of highly successful "Woman In Prison" movies that hit paydirt on the drive-in circuits – and launched the career of PAM GRIER (the star of Quentin Tarantino’s "JACKIE BROWN").

They relied on a simple formula : there would be lots of shapely girls bursting out of their tight prison uniforms sweating it out in the tropics. The girls would do field work, take showers, and be frequently tortured before breaking out with guns blazing!

This first-of-a-kind women-in-prison drive-in classic has new girl Collier (Judy Brown) thrown into the same cell as tough lesbian hooker Grear (Pam Grier – who also sings the theme song!), the rebellious Bodine, the hard-bitten Alcott, and the drug addict Harad. Collier experiences what real life is like behind bars: the bloody fights in the showers, the lesbian sex and the torture sessions put on by the sadistic warden for the amusement of a mysterious stranger.
