SYNOPSIS

Shot without the safety net of a major studio and filmed across 28 countries over four years, Tarsem Singh’s self-financed masterpiece The Fall is a true original. A one-of-a-kind visually audacious fable that fuses the breathtaking surrealism of Alejandro Jodorowsky, Salvador Dali-esque dreamscapes and Ken Russell-style religious iconography to create a transgressive hyper-reality, as seen through the eyes of a child.

In silent-era Hollywood, stuntman Roy Walker (Lee Pace, Foundation, Bodies Bodies Bodies) is brought to a hospital after an on-set accident. There, he befriends a young girl (Catina Untaru) and tells her a fantastical tale of epic heroes taking revenge on an evil ruler. The story transports her from the hospital into the exotic landscapes of her imagination.
