pages of landmark comic book 2000 A.D,Hardware is the horror sci-fi cult-classic that marked the astonishing debut of maverick filmmaker Richard Stanley (Dust Devil) and sent audiences on a white-knuckle ride into a desolate future.
Set in the nuclear-scarred 21st century, where mankind struggles to survive in the shadows of radioactive clouds, an intrepid scavenger named Moses Baxter (Dylan McDermott) ventures out into the industrial wasteland and discovers a robotic head - an otherwise innocuous remnant of a wartorn past.
Delivered into the relative safety of the colony, the steel scrap is destined to become part of girlfriend Jill's (Stacey Travis) world of metal-sculpture.
But within the robotic head is the insidious micro chip of a military combat droid called M.A.R.K 13 ready to mount a violent resurrection that will wreak all manner of havoc and rock the colony to its bloody core.
An uncompromising mix of hard rock industrial horror and cyberpunk action, Hardware also features a full-throttle soundtrack including Ministry and Public Image Ltd. and appearances from music stalwarts Iggy Pop, Lemmy from Motorhead and Fields of The Nepilim's Carl McCoy
