Clark (Benjamin Crutcher) is a man barely there. His life lacks a certain factor of care and responsibility. He can’t hold down a decent job – delivering half-eaten pizzas with a side of attitude – his career is one giant fail after another. His pal Dale (Winston Carter) cuts him some slack and helps out occasionally with the rent, hopeful that one day he might make good on the favour.
One fateful night Clark falls asleep on his couch, waiting for his microwave spaghetti to heat up and the rest is superhero legend. Following a bizarre microwave mishap Clark transforms into the one and only Spaghettiman, a superhero who can fight crime with the power of spaghetti, as well as a side-serving of attitude. With the ability to shoot spaghetti out of his hands and fight crime, his ambitions are realistic if not materialistic – pay the man his worth if you want him to help you out in a tight and perilous situation.
A wild and wacky spin on the superhero tale, in the zany tradition of Mystery Men and Super, Spaghettiman proves there is more than one way to boil pasta, beat up a bad guy and still make a living.
