Celebrating the very best in Australian Country music My Kinda Country is a unique 13 episode television program from 1993 exploring the local music scene in detail and incorporating videos and live performances from some of the leading exponents of the time.
The casual laid-back format features respected guest musicians who host each episode, take time out to discuss their lives through personal anecdotes and explore the many inspirations for their music. A relative ‘who’s who’ of Australian Country music, guests include the likes of Slim Dusty, Lee Kernaghan, Johnny Chester, Beccy Cole, Ann Kirkpatrick, Greg Champion as well as performances from Keith Urban, Gina Jeffreys and many more.
