HERMAN'S HERMITS LIVE IN AUSTRALIA 1966

Synopsis

1960s British Pop sensation Herman's Hermits captured the imagination of a generation with their clean-cut look and chart-topping tunes.

In 1966 the original line-up, featuring Keith Hopwood, Karl Green, Derek Leckenby, Peter Noone, and Barry Whitwam performed a one-off live show for Australian TV, sponsored by Hilton’s Hosiery.

This electrifying show features the classic tracks: ‘Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat’, ‘Jezebel’, ‘A Must To Avoid’, ‘I’m Into Something Good’, ‘Listen People’ (from the motion picture When The Boys Meet The Girls), ‘Silhouettes’, ‘Wonderful World’, ‘I’m Talking About You’ and ‘Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter’.

Replete with classic Hilton Hosiery commercial breaks for ladder-proof nylons and fueled by an energetic studio audience, this special presentation of Herman’s Hermits celebrates the best of the Beat sound with verve and 60s style.
