Angel's Egg 4K

From Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell), this cult anime treasure resurfaces in a luminous 4K restoration for the film’s 40th anniversary.

Baroque and visually arresting, the film is set in an obscure, underwater dystopia, where a young, pale, white-haired girl wanders the ruins. She carries with her precious cargo in the form of a large egg, which she believes will hatch an angel. She encounters a boy soldier who joins her travels, their destination unknown.
